Are you an experienced Debt Recovery Assistant / Customer Advisor looking for a new and exciting challenge? Do you have experience within a debt recovery environment?
We are looking for a confident and experienced Customer Advisor to join this busy and fast paced department within a public sector environment.
This is a temporary assignment, expected to be until October 2021. It is a 37 hour a week post, with a competitive hourly rate of GBP10.01.
Due to covid restrictions, the role will, in the majority be remote working, but you will have full training provided, and may at times be required to work in the office.
The main purpose of this role is to recover debts owed, within an Income recovery team.
You will be responsible for the following;
Making contact with a list of debtors - Including businesses, and individuals
Arranging payments, and setting up of payment plans.
Liaising with external agencies and internal departments as necessary.
Understanding customer requirements and demonstrating the ability to deal with all types of customer enquiries in person, by telephone, email and written correspondence.
Helping with payment runs
Running reports
Responsible for the accuracy, security and validity of all data input on the systems, including data control and reconciliation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following;
Debt recovery experience
Knowledge, understanding and experience of IT systems and working practices.
The ability to show initiative when dealing with customer issues and to take steps to ensure that the issue is resolved by developing solutions.
Team working skills and the ability to work together with colleagues to deliver a cohesive, joined-up service to customers.
Proven customer service experience.
This is a system based role, so we are looking for someone with excellent IT skills. Experience of financial based systems would be an advantage.
