Health and Social Care Jobs have a full time, permanent job vacancy for a Registered Children's Home Manager & a Deputy Children's Home Manager based near the Wolverhampton area of West Midlands.
We welcome applications from Deputy Managers, or experienced Senior Support Workers and Team Leaders who are driven and motivated, ready to take that next step! The home is easily commutable from Wolverhampton, Stafford, Telford, Lichfield and surrounding areas.
* GBP35-50K per annum Registered Manager
* GBP26,000 GBP27,500 per annum Deputy Manager
* Flexible working hours
* On call duties
The Provider
This provider is an independent organisation, who provide therapeutic support to children with complex needs who may display emotional and behavioural difficulties, mild learning difficulties or have suffered childhood trauma and abuse. They provide individualised care to children and young people of both sexes, aged 8 - 18 years old. This is a specialist provider of children's residential homes, who aim to build an outstanding reputation for high quality child centred care, which you could be part of!
The Home & Your Role
You will be Registered Manager or Deputy Manager to a very settled, 4 bed, children's residential home located in a lovely semi-rural area of Wolverhampton. You will be joining a well-established team whose aim is to promote the development of children and young people into happy young adults with the world at their feet! As Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, bringing positivity and motivation to your team and providing the highest standard of child care with a fun, professional attitude.
Essential Criteria
* Level 3 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (or equivalent)
* Experience supporting children & young people to a residential setting
* Drive & motivation to really make a difference in young people's lives
* Willingness to work flexible hours & be part of an oncall rota
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Aged 21 years or over*
