Waking Nights Children Support Worker
This position will be on an on-going basis, you will be providing a secure, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people in a residential setting. This is to ensure that they will be living safely and working towards achieving their full potential. The age range of the residents are between 8 to 18 years old.
Job Type: On-Going Basis
Hours: 4 nights per week, 22.30 pm - 8.00 am, then 4 nights off.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Derby
Requirement:
You MUST have a full UK driving license.
NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Child Care Service .
Experience working with children and young adults.
Experience dealing with challenging behaviours, having complex needs and / or with learning difficulties.
Experience working in a residential setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Reliable with excellent time keeping skills.
Passionate about delivering high standards of care to the children and young adults.
