This is an opportunity to join a friendly, hardworking team.

My client is an expanding, young and dynamic office supplies/document storage company, based in Leicestershire, serving client requirements nationwide.

Due to further growth a position has become available for a Delivery Driver to join our team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Hours of Work and Pay

GBP9 per hour

42.5 hours a week

Monday to Friday 08.00 -17.00pm

Job Role

Preparing the van for operation by inspecting general condition, checking fluid levels and tyre pressures and reporting to manager.

Loads van by picking orders from picking bay

Deliver items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the van; unloading items; maintaining schedule.

Serves and delivers to customers in a friendly, helpful, and pleasant manner.

Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organisation operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as adhering to driving rules and regulations.

Maintain van operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements, cleaning van exterior and interior.

Maintain delivery, van, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery notes, completing driver log and van performance forms.

Enhance organisation reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Candidate Requirements

Competent driver with full licence with no more than 3 points.

Experience of multi-drop deliveries

Experience of driving Long Wheel Base vehicles

Physically fit to be able to load and unload the van and ensure packages get to customers safely.

Experience of dealing with customers in a polite and friendly manner
