FLT Counterbalance Driver - The Recruitment Group
The Recruitment Group is hiring!
We're on the lookout for an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver to join our well-established client based in Long Whatton.
This is a very fast paced, busy environment, working within an established team.
About the role:
As a FLT Counterbalance driver there will be some heavy lifting involved due to the nature of the business (5 tonne lifts/7.5 meter planks of wood), so we're looking for someone who isn't afraid to get stuck-in!
You will be responsible for picking, packing and stocking a wide range of timber and timber related products whilst working outdoors. As well as this, you will be involved in general housekeeping, loading and banding products.
You will be job shadowing for up to month, you will not be on a forklift straight away.
The business is based in Long Whatton, it is preferable to have your own method of transport as the location is not easily accessible via public transport (20 minute walk from closest bus stop to the site).
About You:
Do you have previous experience working as a FLT Counterbalance driver?
Do you like working as part of a team?
Do you hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence?
The details:
There are various shift patterns available within this role, these look like:
* Monday to Thursday 7.45am - 4.30pm
or
* Fridays 7.45am - 3.15pm
Hourly rate is GBP9.20 p/h - 39 hours per week
Overtime rates paid after 39 hours
Work 1 in 4 Saturdays - 7.30am - 12pm
