DEFENCE CAPABILITY TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGER
PERMANENT - HERTFORDSHIRE

Stream resourcing are currently working with a market leading, multi-national Defence company, who have an exciting opportunity to work within their Customer Support Team. This position offers the opportunity to join a well-established team who are committed to enhancing the fight capability of the UK armed forces. You will play a pivotal part of a major refurbishment of an in-service product utilised by the Royal Navy, engaging with a number of suppliers, companies and project teams to ensure that agreed demands are met.
Key Responsibilities
Guaranteeing there is a coherent plan for Mid Life Refurbishment (MLR) delivery and ensuring success against the plan.
Ownership of all Technical and Logistic aspects of the MLR programme
Ensuring that the programme is executed as per the contractual obligations
Working on a multinational project, providing the interface between the embodiment agency in the UK and the multinational supply chain
Required Skills/Experience
A broad based engineering background, a degree level qualification in a technical discipline would be beneficial, with substantial knowledge and experience of Complex Systems production / refurbishment
Strong understanding in the application of the UK MoD's technical and logistics systems
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business
Prioritisation and ability to deal with multiple issues on a regular basis
Strategic planning of support work, ensuring equipment availability requirements are always met
The ability to satisfy and hold a full security clearance check
