Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for a number of HGV Class 1 drivers for afternoon shifts for our well-known client based in the Cannock area.
The job is a simple depot to depot trunking on a curtain sider vehicle for a parcel distribution service, doing 1-3 deliveries per shift, all the goods will be loaded and unloaded for you so there is no handball or manual handling. Shift lengths will be 8-12 hours long, Monday-Friday, so this is an ideal role for someone looking to fit a job around a busy lifestyle unlike most driving roles.
Start times will vary from 11:00-23:00, but if you need slightly earlier or later starts, this can be accommodated. The ideal driver will have minimum of 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience and 6 points or fewer. The rates of pay for the job are GBP15.00 to GBP16.00 including Holiday PAYE (Start time dependent)
