My client are looking for a Catering Assistant for a temporary basis to assist the catering team for their site in Jarrow.
The Role
This is for holiday and sickness cover and will last for several weeks on a day shift 8am-3pm You will be preparing food to serve to staff in the canteen which is based in their busy factories and warehouse.
Serving customers and cash handling.
Maintaining a clean and hygiene working environment in line with advisory food hygiene standards.
Other Catering Assistant duties expected as part of a catering team.
The Person
Ideally experience within a similar role as a catering assistant
Working in a customer facing environment in a catering or similar capacity
Food Hygiene level 2 qualification
The Pay GBP9ph
