A global, well-established automotive electronics design company based in the West Midlands area currently requires a Software Process Engineer - ASPICE to join their dynamic, high performance design team. The company supplies electronic systems into most Tier 1 automotive manufacturers in the UK and worldwide.
As the Software Process Engineer - ASPICE, you will be responsible for defining the whole software process for this site, whilst adhering to strict standards/guidelines such as Automotive SPICE (ASPICE). You will be expected to work on all the necessary documents and support Software/Systems Engineers in implementing improved software development process plans.
They are looking for Software Engineers or Process Engineers, who have any software experience within the automotive industry. As well as candidates with prior software quality experience.
Requirements for the Software Process Engineer - ASPICE must include the following:
- Excellent communication skills as you will be interacting with customers, suppliers and various engineers/managers in different departments.
- Having the ability to understand quality assurance of a process
- Experience in following strict standards/guidelines, preferably Automotive SPICE
- Extensive software knowledge
