Registered Nurse - BRAND NEW 6 bed learning disability & autism step-down service - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced staff nurse - mental health nurse ( RMN ) or learning disability nurse ( RNLD ) - to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive specialist brand new 6 bedded home for adults with a learning disability or autism. This brand new service will open in March 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a brilliant organisation but to also join a new team and a developing service. You will have the opportunity to influence and develop the service and their ways of working.
Location: Exeter, Devon
Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000 per annum ( up to GBP16.40 per hour ) - negotiable depending on your experience
Bonus: GBP5,000 paid in two instalments in your first year
Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours)
Shifts: Options of Days only or Nights only or Mixed shifts (12 hour shifts) on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference
Service Details: This Care Home is a brand new 6 bedded home with individual apartments for people with a learning disability or autism who are stepping down from a hospital service and is ready to transition into the community for more independent living. This new service will open in March 2021.
Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression: The Care Home offers a structured and thorough 2 week induction programme, which will include various training courses. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills. All nurses will receive ongoing support from your Manager..
