Title: Tyre Fitter
Salary: GBP11.54ph - GBP12.50ph [D.O.E]
Benefits: Excellent benefits when permanent, monthly bonus, 33 days holiday, Company Pension, Private Health Care
Hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday + regular overtime at enhanced pay rate
Duration: Temp to Perm [after a successful temporary period]

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Tyre Fitter based at UK's largest independent materials handling company, you will carry out general labourer's duties, including tyre fitting, general warehouse, workshop and yard housekeeping tasks. All activities are to be carried out in accordance with current best practice guidelines and to be compliant with the company Health and Safety, Quality policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To change & fit industrial tyres on request, and assist with tyre stock control and monitoring.
To carry out visual inspections of all vehicles being received into Equipment Preparation Centre and complete Goods Receiving Notification documentation.
To ensure all vehicles or goods loaded for despatch are completed to meet time deadlines.
Keeping the work area clean, tidy.
To provide cover for the other labourers at the other site as and when instructed by the workshop manager.
Work in accordance with the Company Safe Working Practice and H&S standards.
To work mostly without supervision by using own initiative, maintaining high standards of quality at all times.
Any such other duties as you may reasonably be required to perform within the scope of your knowledge skills and ability.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential, ideally from a HGV background
Good communication skills with the ability to accurately complete paperwork
The ability to work well as a Team Player
Knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace
Willingness to learn and attend training courses
