Client Summary:

My client are one of Europe's largest contract manufacturing specialists for the supply of control & panel wiring, full systems integration, electromechanical assemblies and cable harnesses.
They are a large global organization having bases in various locations across Europe, Australia, India and America. The site in Derby where this position is based mainly supply into Bombardier Transportation only as a Tier 1 supplier into Alstom who manufacture new build trains.
Their growth and reputation are based on supplying innovative supply chain solutions, delivering value added on time programmes and providing extremely competitive turnkey designed products.

Position Summary

Looking for a strong and proactive admin / coordinator who has experience working within HR / confidential environment.

Main Essential Functions

Managing the Headcount and reporting
Controlling GDPR
Time and Attendance
Internal communications and branding (The way we look)
HR KPI Reporting
HR Support (Interview panel and minutes as required)
Growing and developing company Benefits scheme
Arranging company events
Support with Process management

Your responsibilities as the HR Co-Ordinator may also include:

*Organising and maintaining employee records under current GDPR guidelines.
*Administrative support with onboarding and offboarding.
*Ownership of headcount and headcount reporting.
*Updating and maintaining Time & Attendance records.
*Preparing and amending HR literatures.
*Reviewing and renewing company policies, stationary and all other relevant HR documentation.
*Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to support the HR department.
*Minute taking within confidential HR related meetings.
*Ensuring the effective operation of plans and processes related to HR.
*Applying and maintaining an effective and secure HR filing system.
*Schedule and co-ordinate meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team's agenda.
*Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, such as collection of employee feedback.
*Arranging and assisting with work experience and internship programs.
*Good understanding of current labour laws.
*All other administrative duties associated with a busy HR Function.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, minimum 37 hours/week position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 07:20 to 15:50 and Friday 07:20 to 12:20 but flexibility in hours is allowed in order to meet business requirements.
