Calling all HGV 1 or Class 1 Drivers, we are looking for all the drivers that are looking for a fix term contract HGV 1 licence.
We are a company that specialises in placing new drivers into long term positions/permanent employment. Depot based in Andover
In a changing market place clients are starting to consider newly qualified drivers but we are aiming to recruit drivers with a minimum of 6 months experience for temporary and long term HGV Class 1 driving opportunities for Class 1 Drivers
This position is working for a leading national brand. You will be delivering from depot to stores.
Benefits:
Up to date vehicles
This is permanent HGV 1 driver with a full time permanent role of GBP15.02/ph (dependant on shift, days and hours worked)
You will be working an average of 48 hours per week on an 'any 5 from 7' rota but also overtime available
48 hours minimum guranteed per week
Weekley pay
An average of 6 drops per shift
22 days holiday + BH's, pension scheme and other benefits ( 31 days of holiday )
Excellent working conditions
As a HGV 1/ Class 1 Driver your duties will include:
Delivering products to supermarkets throughout the UK
Driving safely and with courtesy when out on the road
Responsible for vehicle checks before leaving the depot.
Please only apply for this role if you are happy to work on a shift pattern flexible to work evenings and some weekends
Holds a C+E licence (HGV Class 1) CPC/DQC and Digi card
HGV 1/ Class 1 Driver need to have a minimum of 6 months of Class 2 experience
The ideal HGV 1 Driver will have the following skills and experiences:
No more than 6 points / DD or DR
Reliable and flexible, willing to learn new things and excited for this brand new opportunity.
