Immediate requirement for a Group Supply Chain Data Controller in Knaresborough, Harrogate, Yorkshire.
Our client is a global business who supply environment improvement products to the domestic and industrial markets. They have 15 sites in the UK and Europe, employ over 500 staff with a turnover of GBP150M+.
The company is launching Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain Management System, behind which the business operates different ERP systems.
The role will support the Supply Chain in:
Managing Group systems data integrity within Dynamics 365.
Analysing and interpreting data from the system in order to identify standardisation and integration opportunities.
Developing process alignment across the group on creation and maintenance of 1) Items 2) Vendors 3) Bill of Materials 4) Purchase Order Placement 5) Demand Planning & Forecasting.
Accountabilities:
All creation and change requests to be approved or rejected to by job holder.
Ensure that correct product nomenclature and vendor codes are applied before being released to the group ERPs.
Work alongside the central Supply Chain team in integration projects and activities to ensure process and data is standardised.
Identify areas of data cleanse improvements in order to look at new opportunities or expand existing operations within D365.
Working with colleagues across the group from different sites across Europe and North America.
Liaise with the third party providers in delivering system developments, integrations or improvements.
Build and develop reporting tools.
Analyse, understand and interpret trends in the data.
Prepare data to be presented or published.
Issuing monthly reporting metrics.
Supporting monthly forecasting process.
The Candidate:
3 years business experience
Background of working with data, ERP systems or Business Intelligence tools
Comfortable working with data
Evidence of ability to generate reporting from ERP systems or Business Intelligence Systems
Highly Numerate
Strong attention to Detail
Responsive and Flexible, with a can-do attitude
Educated to degree level, preferably with a focus on data, maths or numerate subject.
