THE ROLE
We are looking for a Horticultural worker / Greenhouse operative for seasonal work at our client's business based near Horsham. This fantastic role will involve cultivating the ground, picking plants and weeding the ground around the crops. You will also be using the potting machine, the transplanting machine and helping to choose the best plants to assemble an order ready to be sent out.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience of working in a plant nursery would be hugely beneficial, however and interest in working in this environment would be great for example a keen gardener or someone with an allotment, someone with landscaping experience or grounds maintenance experience. This work is physically demanding as it involves a lot of leaning over and moving heavy trolleys of plants around the nursery. You will be in the greenhouse or out in the open all day so you must be happy working outdoors.
THE PERSON PROFILE
Due to the location, you will need your own transport. Someone hard working and willing to just get "stuck in". you must be happy working outdoors.
