Fulfilment and frame technician role (Eyewear brand)

Start Date - Immediate

?Contract Hours: 25-30 hrs per week.

• - Office based role in Exeter.
• - GBP20k-GBP25k dependant on experience.

Bird Eyewear is a fast growing, award winning eyewear brand. We are looking to recruit reliable office operative to join our Exeter team. The role includes order fulfilment using ecommerce and shipping systems, frame adjustments and lens fitting with scope for the role to develop in other areas as part of a fast growing eyewear brand.

This is a hands on role where an eye for detail really matters. Previous experience in fulfilment, customer service, and familiarity with logistics systems/processes is a plus. Training will be given on all aspects of the role.

Desired person Spec:

• - Experience of working in a retail or environment, with excellent attention to detail.
• - Highly organised, with good time management skills. ?
• - Computer literate - Excel, Word, Mac & Windows OS.
• - Experience for Ecommerce online systems preferable.
• - Self-motivated, proactive and takes initiative.
• - Adaptable, with a willingness to learn.
• - Good at problem-solving.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Work to ensure the correct items are dispatched correctly, on time, first time.

Provide comprehensive quality control, making adjustments, cleaning frames and checking customer orders. Restocking stations with equipment/packaging as required.

As a key member of the team, taking responsibility in maintaining an effective, clean, tidy and safe working environment.

Undertake tasks as allocated and help meet deadlines to achieve daily and weekly goals the team are working towards.

Day to day operations may include:

• - Order Fulfilment - Pick, Check, Pack, Dispatch
• - Glasses/Sunglasses adjustments
• - Cleaning Frames
• - Stocktake & Replenishment
• - Mail/Courier collections
• - Processing Returns
• - Restock Packaging Stations
• - Batch processing

Areas of growth include:

• - Helping to develop and manage a complex stocking system
• - Spotting trends in frames and suggesting changes
• - Learning and helping to manage prescription based orders
