As a Social Worker with Change Grow Live you will be working with people to help them change the direction of their life, grow as an individual, and live life to its full potential.

Responsibilities

We currently have a vacancy in the Southend on Sea team for a Social Work Lead.

You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing a wide range of treatment interventions. You will support a staff team of Opiate, Non-Opiate and Alcohol Recovery Coordinators as well as Volunteers. The service is to provide substance misuse interventions and promote recovery, wellbeing and helping individuals make lasting changes for a healthier life.

There is a strong safeguarding focus to the role ensuring our staff team are trained and supported when working with service users.

You will work closely with the staff and management team as well as many partner agencies.

No two days are the same and as we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual so being curious, a good listener and having a flexible approach are essential.

You will have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you will be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds and helping to make a difference to their lives.

The role does include some evening work and working from satellite settings.
