IFS Specialist - Modernising Business Systems - Reputable Manufacturing and Engineering Group

Your new role
In this role, you'll be the Systems Specialist on site for a highly reputable and successful Manufacturing and Engineering Group of companies who have a huge push on digital transformation and ennoblement. You'll be ensuring the functional and technical aspects of the IFS and related business systems work for the users of the business. The primary focus is to seek effective solutions to business operational improvement requirements by means of Information Technology and Systems. This involves the investigation, analysis and documentation of business functions and processes, working in line with every day users. The IFS Functional Specialist role provides daily application support to end users, responding to incidents and requests that are logged, in line with pre-defined SLAs. Alongside the usability, you'll look at the security and data management side of things, you'll work alongside external suppliers to achieve results and produce technical and end user documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for an individual who has worked with the IFS ERP system for at least a couple of years, with a good understanding of how the system operates to support business operations, needing to include logistics, transport and supply chain. Having exposure to the Advanced Supply Chain module would be a huge benefit. You'll be able to approach the IFS from both a technical and functional aspect, providing user support when necessary. Ideally you'll have expertise around IALs, Custom Events and Migrations, with strong data management and reporting skills, including PL/SQL, Crystal Reports/Power BI & Lobbies. Lastly on the tech side, exposure to IFS connect would be great.

As an individual, we're looking for you to have strong analytical skills and mindset, being able to conceptually think about problems to provide resolutions, communicating your ideals effectively with a range of audiences. You'll have the capability to work autonomously whilst contributing to a team's end goal, with a customer focused mindset. Lastly, we will need you to have a full driving license.
