NDT LEVEL 2 TECHNICIAN (Dye Pen) / QUALITY ENGINEER - Nottingham, Permanent

EMBS Engineering is working collaboratively with a precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a specialist in the machining and fabrication of small to medium complex components for a variety of lucrative industry sectors including; Aerospace, Automotive, Sub Sea, Defence just to name a few.

Following recent investment, our client is looking to recruit an NDT Level 2 Technician (Dye Pen) to join their business on a permanent basis.

This is such an exciting opportunity as the company looks to bring further capabilities in-house giving them greater capacity to deliver fast make, quick turnaround projects to an exceptionally high standard.

As this is a new capability, they will be expecting the successful individual to help facilitate and implement the NDT line and source approval.

Whilst the business looks to promote their new service which adds to their already strong list of manufacturing capabilities, the role will not only be solely NDT related but it will also consist of Quality Engineering related tasks such as FAIRs, NCR's, supporting audits etc., therefore, providing a diverse and versatile role.

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

Qualified NDT Level 2 in Dye Pen (EN4179 NAS 410) and completed associated hours
Previous experience of testing machined and/or fabricated precision components
Worked with various materials
Adhered to AS9100 & ISO standards
Adhered to NADCAP standards - Desirable
Ability to complete all associated paperwork
Knowledge or experience of completing FAIRs, NCR's and audits is desirable but training & support would be available

Additional training and investment surrounding Quality Engineering tasks (FAIRs, NCR's, Audits etc.) will be given to the right candidate, allowing the chosen individual to develop a more rounded view of Quality and also use as a platform to propell your knowledge to new heights.

In return the client is offering:

Stability & Longevity - Permanent position
Starting salary - Circa GBP25,000 p.a
Hours: 39 hours per week, early finish on Friday
