Due to rapid growth and current expansion, we are now looking for an HR and Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Wickford.

As an HR and Health & Safety Officer, you will ensure all HR policies and processes are consistently and efficiently executed.
Working closely with the Leadership Team, you will support more than 50 staff in everything within the HR sphere, from dealing with starters and leavers, to implementing policies, handling leave requests and running appraisals for senior management.
You’ll develop and enforce policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with H&S and promoting a culture of equality and diversity throughout our organisation.
Your role will also include:
- Undertaking site visits
- Developing new starter packs and induction plans and handling Exit Interviews
- Dealing with policies on a wide range of issues including equal opportunities and disciplinary procedures
- Managing maternity, paternity, flexible/remote working and probation requests
- Managing employee sickness records, attendance and absence
- Acting as the first point of contact for all HR enquires for employees
- Ensuring that all HR files are up to date, maintained and kept secure
- Interpreting and advising on employment law
- Managing talent and succession planning
To be considered as an HR and Health & Safety Officer, you will need:
- Previous HR and H&S experience
- Recruitment experience
- Talent management and succession planning experience
- A strong level of IT literacy including experience of using an ATS
The ideal candidate will also hold a CIPD qualification, preferably MCIPD or above.
