Job Description

A dynamic and efficient logistics administrator is required to work in a young and energetic office. We are looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to support all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for administration and must be highly organised with great attention to detail and a passion for life. They should be able to turn their hand to a variety of different tasks within the office with a specific emphasis on purchasing and supplier relations.


?? Assist with other administration and logistics requirements;

?? Preparing shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading);

?? Coordinate and arrange the custom duty and tax administration for goods sent abroad;

?? Facilitate terms of delivery, transport logistics and required customs declarations inclusive of VAT, and delivery charges;

?? Facilitate, postage, packaging and transport insurances;

?? Work on procurement and tender applications including creating relevant documentation;

?? Generate, process and organise purchase orders with suppliers;

?? Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers;

?? Planning shipments based on product availability and customer requests

?? Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveries;

?? Arrange for logistics and dispatch of shipping items;

?? Develop, maintain and keep up to date the company filing system;

?? Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery;

?? Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff;

?? Maintain stock database, carry out stock takes and order stock & materials when required;

?? Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed;

?? Provide information to customers about the status of their orders;

?? Manage the supplier databases;

?? Answer telephone calls and respond to requests for information via phone and email;

?? Build good relationships with suppliers;

?? Assist with the printing of merchandise and shipping there of;

?? Ensure the office is kept tidy and orderly;

?? Help to promote the ESP brand globally;

Skills Required:

?? Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role;

?? Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems;

?? Proficient IT skills in Apple Mac (Numbers, Pages and Keynote) and Microsoft Office;

?? Basic accounting knowledge;

?? Efficient and well organised with an attention to detail;

?? Ability to multi task and work well under pressure;


Salary: GBP18,000 to GBP24,000 depending on experience; Exciting fun office environment, regular team outings, group fitness sessions; An emphasis on personal growth and CPD programmes


The ESP head office is based on the Loughborough University campus in Loughborough Leicestershire. There is a regular shuttle from the train station to near the ESP office.
