Maintenance Technician Part Time
We are seeking a caring and talented individual who will make a difference to the lives of our residents.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (or individuals with a Trades background) to join our team in Glencairn Care Home for a part-time position, working 25 hours per week.
Your main responsibilities as the Maintenance Technician in one of our Homes will be to carry out day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds and manage the up keep of the gardens, car park and common areas in order to ensure that the care home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order. You will ensure the Company's high standard of presentation is maintained at all times and ensuring an efficient, safe and homely environment for our residents. You will be responsible for the security to outside storage areas and maintaining clear and accurate records in accordance with Health & Safety requirements, including fire, and practice and promote safe working practices within the Home.
To be considered for this role, you will hold a clean UK Driving Licence and have a vehicle. You will have a proven track record in building maintenance and at least one year's experience in a similar role. You are aware of Health & Safety requirements and be willing to undertake mandatory training - a recognised trade qualification is desirable.
