Security Analyst (SOC)
East Midlands Based
Exciting new job opportunity as permanent Security Analyst (SOC) with well known client in Derby!
Are you able to provide high-quality security services to users of information and communications technology? If so, this may be the job for you!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Providing end to end resolution of incidents, including detection and triage as required.
- Ensuring integrity and security of IT infrastructure and protecting information systems across global IT estates
- Working with colleagues outside of SOC, providing feedback to improve the maintenance and tuning of the security tooling.
1-2 years experience in IT support and understanding of defensive security tools, and Microsoft server and client technologies are essential. Strong communication skills are also preferable.
The role is full time, based on 37.5 hours per week. Shift patterns are on a rotation basis of 12 hour shifts, including night shift, and training is provided both internally and externally, along with certification.
UK Government Security Clearance is mandatory. If not held already, it will need to be in place before the start.
