Pseudo Product Owner - Digital

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires an experienced Pseudo Product Owner to be based in their client's office in Nottingham. You can work remotely until covid abates.

This is a 18-24 month temporary contract, to start on 10th May 2021.

The right candidate must have a Pseudo Product Owner- Digital experience, with a minimum 10+ years of experience in managing multiple stakeholders across organisation and drive decisions to finalise the user stories for development

Job purpose

Is to define and maintain digital product roadmap, backlog, and work closely with different client business functions to maintain and develop internal digital channels while aligning to product strategy, mission & vision

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain digital product roadmap, backlog, and work closely with different client business functions to maintain and develop internal digital channels while aligning to product strategy, mission & vision
  • Guide client teams on product (digital) development and collaborate with agile product development teams.
  • To develop and maintain digital channels (internal)
  • Supervise digital product development teams to develop and maintain digital channels (internal)
  • Product (Digital) Budget Management

  • Experience in shaping digital product backlog across cross functional teams with in the retail industry in focused areas like retail operations of stores, retail pharmacy operations
  • Experience in sprint planning, prioritisation of product backlogs
  • Strong communication skills to negotiate and rationalise the value-based user stories
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in managing multiple stakeholders across organisation and drive decisions to finalise the user stories for development
  • Experience in overseeing development stages of the program and access risks in the early stages and plan mitigations to de-risk the project timelines and budgets
  • Experience in mentoring scrum teams and help team in planning the sprints with realistic goals
  • Must have delivered 5+ successful transformation engagements as pseudo product owner in large retail digital transformation programs
