Our client is a family owned and operated business that retails premium quality tech products online to the UK market. They provide top quality products at fair prices supported by their customer first approach. They pride themselves on their world class customer service and after sales support. Retailing on 4 major platform online, the business has grown from strength to strength during the pandemic. This client requires a remote based Customer Service Representative to join them in further growing the business and delivering their renowned customer care process.

The client seeks an experienced tech focused Customer Service Representative to join their team, primarily supporting with the sales and after-sales/ customer service duties. The role is an on going remote based position however access to the office in Clacton-on-Sea is essential for training and business needs. Full equipment will be provided to set up your home office, but you must have a quiet space where your able to work. Its also essential you have some experience or interest in technology, specifically camera related goods as that is the primary focus of the business.

Duties of the Customer Service Representative will include:

Responding to initial sales enquiries, establishing needs and matching best suited product
Liaising with company logistics partner regarding delivery queries
Deliver gold standard after-sales technical/ customer support
Process requests, warranty claims and refund requests in line with procedure
Updates and monitor internal stock control systems
Communications in all manners such as Telephone, email, social media, web enquiries and online sales platforms
Record and monitor customer interactions
Track and actively promote website reviewsThis position is an all-round varied role where the duties will vary according to business needs so a proactive nature, strong initiative and flexibility are paramount. You will also be the first point of contact for many customers so strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential. Given the nature of the company being so tech focused, a thorough product knowledge is vital - full training is provided but a genuine interest is required.

Key skill requirements

A polite and professional manner
Proven customer service experience ideally after-sales care
Comfortable using computers - preferably Mac
Comprehensive knowledge of online search platforms as well as sales platforms like eBay and/or Amazon.
Excellent communicator both verbal and written
Understanding of Microsoft Word/Excel
Experience using video media players
User experience of Mobile App/Wifi Technologies
Knowledgeable and using Social media channels
Buyer or seller experience on Amazon/EBay/ OnBuy
Ability to manage time efficientlyDesirable

Current or previous user of their typical products such as Dash Cameras, Action cams etc
Experienced or have connections to Motorcycling, Cycling or Equestrian
