The Logistics Coordinator Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator based in Dublin. Reporting to the Logistics Manager you will provide effective route planning and control all administration within the logistics department.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Provide accurate and effective administration & record keeping.
+ Schedule fleet & contracted haulage effectively to meet both service, fleet Utilisation and cost objectives.
+ Ensure maximum fleet utilisation when route planning & exporting / importing for contracted haulage.
+ Organise & control all contracted haulage and reduce contracted haulage cost so far as possible.
+ Ensure compliance with all Transportation legal requirements relating to transportation by Road, Sea & Air. Also compliance with all Quality, EHS, insurance requirements, and GDP / Food Safety requirements.
+ Report accidents, incident and near misses as per company policy / procedures and comply with all Safety notices.
+ Ensure good housekeeping within the Logistics department, both internal workstations & vehicles.
+ Process purchase and expense returns as required.
+ Confirm delivery of orders despatched / received is carried out in time frame required.
+ Ensure fleet service & maintenance is completed as required.
+ Interfacing with the supplier and facilitating communication between different parts of the business (e.g. Stock, Operations and Customer Service teams) and the supplier regarding supply and pricing of products, thereby executing the strategy set out by the EMEA Product Manager and resolving supply related issues.
+ Interfacing with Country Product Management teams to ensure that they are aware of availability and pricing.
+ Working with the Product Management team in order to support pricing strategy implementation and feedback market information from sales.
+ Managing a portfolio of products and supporting the execution of product launches and allocations.
+ Providing timely commercial product and market updates to the EMEA Product Manager and to the country Product Management teams.
+ Coordinating & monitoring complaints and samples.
+ Performing new supplier and product set ups.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will need to possess a good level of IT skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to this role along with the capability to follow established procedures are necessary. You will also be able to prioritise your work and display a high level of attention to detail whilst working within a team.
