Our client is currently experiencing a prolonged period of extensive growth due to high demand in the market.
They are currently seeking to appoint a Process Engineer to work in their busy Stoke on Trent plant.
The site is a modern, state of the art facility, offering a clean and pleasant environment where the wellbeing of the employees is paramount.
Reporting to the Process and Continuous Improvement Manager, the main purpose of the role is to develop, optimize and maintain production processes, in accordance with HSE and operations guidelines, site infrastructure, regulatory requirements and budgets, in order to maximize the reliability, quality, safety, sustainability and efficiency of production processes at the optimum level of costs.
This will include:
* Generating SOP's and Work Instructions
* Ensure process' are running to specified speeds and output
* Attending review meetings to discuss current and future process' and best practices
* Work on Continuous Improvement activities
* Ensure H&S protocol is adhered to at all times
Requirements
* Bachelor in Chemical or relevant Engineering discipline with several years experience in a relevant environment
* It is expected that the successful candidate will be Chartered Chemical engineer (CEng MIChemE), and this will be supported by the business going forward,
* Strong process background preferably within the Chemical industry.
* Lean/Six sigma experience, to 'Green Belt' standard
