Assistant Accountant - Dagenham - GBP22,000 - GBP25,000
Chase and Holland are working closely with a Key Client who has a fantastic opportunity for a Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis until. As the Assistant Accountant your main purpose will be to administer intercompany transactions within the organisation. This is a chance to join an international business who have grown from strength to strength based in Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain some valuable experience or someone with more experience that can hit the ground running and add value to the team and process. Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:
Key contact for intercompany transactions - intergroup and intercompany
Complete daily, weekly, monthly reconciliations - 20 plus relationships
Month end statement reconciliations
Daily processing of invoices within the document capture queue
Liaising directly with counterparties
Identifying and logging issues
Continuous monitoring of invoices being processed
Ensuring intercompany invoices are processed by month end
Ensuring payments are made to intergroup companies
Month end journals
Reconciling the group month end reporting tool - FCCS
Accounts Payable tasks
Ad hoc tasksKey Requirements and Preferences:
Good level of excel skills - VLOOKUPS, PIVOTS essential
Good communication skills
Must have reconciliation experience
Inter co understanding essential
