We are hiring a newly created Senior Financial Accountant position, working for a property company, based in Essex, this role has arisen due to the business experiencing rapid growth in the past 12 months. This is an exciting time to join the business as it looks to grow its operations in the Home Counties and beyond.
This is an opportunity for the Senior Financial Accountant to take on all aspects of the group and regional financial reporting as well as commercial aspects such as budgeting and forecasting, with a view that you will then progress to Financial Controller within the next 2 years.
Responsibilities include:
* Ownership of all aspects of financial reporting for both the regions and the group
* Prepare the weekly and monthly cashflow forecast
* Working with the regional finance teams to prepare the consolidated management accounts including profit & cashflow forecasts
* Business partnering with the commercial and sales teams, providing financial support and challenging where needed
* Assist in the preparation of the finance section of the monthly board pack and annual budget pack
* Building and managing financial models to aid commercial decision making
* Project work including supporting with the implementation/upgrades of ERP system to help facilitate the growth
The business is looking for an independent, ambitious and hands on Senior Financial Accountant that is ACA qualified with 2 years' post qualified experience within the Property sector. You will be technically strong with financial reporting experience as well as having a commercially focused mindset. A strong team player with a keenness to share knowledge and develop other team members, while holding the ability to drive projects independently is key to being successful in this role.
This is a key hire for the business with fast-track progression available into a Financial Controller role, and they are looking for someone to not only come in and succeed in this role but as an investment of talent longer term.
