Our client, a specialist Logistics service provider, seeks a Transport Scheduler to help assist in the day to day running of of their clients multi drop operation. You will have an excellent communication skills, great local geographical awareness and the planning experience to re-route drivers and accomodate any last minute changes. You will be in part assisting with the daily planning of a fleet of 50 vehicles. You will also be dealing with customers' requests and demands so it goes without saying that you will have excellent people skills both face to face and over the telephone. Basic IT skills essential especially in Word and Excel as you will be updating spread sheets on a daily basis.
