We are now looking for an Equipment Support Assistant to join us and support our activities across Leicester and the surrounding area.

Your Role:
 
As an Equipment Support Assistant, you will act as a trusted advisor to our clients and will review and organise the utilisation, distribution and collection of our products.
 
Specifically, you will:
 
- Report products that are broken or damaged and no longer in use
- Arrange collection for products not in use
- Liaise with clinical staff and resolve problems wherever possible
- Work closely with the Clinical Support Advisor and with the manual handling team
- Support the work of the Medstrom Service Technicians
- Arrange for removal and/or cleaning of products when necessary, following the recommended infection prevention guidelines
- Assist in the updating and communication of information supporting Patient Surfaces Management Contract (PSMC)
- Provide cover for Clinical Support Advisor during periods of holiday and sickness absence
- Facilitate the provision of specialist equipment to wards or departments for Bariatric patients, Medstrom products and small aids to the areas needing them
 
About You:
 
To be considered as an Equipment Support Assistant, you will need:
 
- A good level of computer literacy
- A minimum standard of GCSE level 5/grade C or equivalent
- A friendly, considerate and enthusiastic approach to your duties
- Excellent time management and organisation skills
- The ability to build robust relationships with your peers
 
Previous experience in a caregiving environment would be an advantage, however this is by no means essential as full training will be provided.
 
Due to the nature of the business and working environments, candidates must be DBS checked prior to starting their role. This will be carried out by the business.
