My client who are Electronic Manufacturers are looking for a Senior Buyer to join their Purchasing team, based in Berkshire.
The Senior Buyer, based in Berkshire will be supporting the Purchasing Manager and the Sales team with creating and processing of customer requests for quotation and supporting tasks.
The Senior Buyer, based in Berkshire will be responsible for preparing quotations for PCBs, Cable and Mechanical assemblies and sending out requests for quotation to suppliers. You will be involved in supplier negotiation and creating purchase orders. As Senior Buyer, based in Berkshire you will also be involved in new product introduction activities by loading and checking customer BOMs into the MRP system.
The successful Senior Buyer, based in Berkshire will have experience in a Buyer role or similar and must have electronics manufacturing background. The Senior Buyer, based in Berkshire will also have experience in the procurement of components for cable/ loom assembly and have basic understanding of assembly processes and PCBs. You will also have good attention to detail, good communication skills and be able to multi-task and adapt to any changes.
