Chef de Partie & Hospitality Couples - Island Accommodation Provided - Isles of Scilly, UK
Our client is on the lookout for chefs, available immediately, to join their friendly teams on Tresco Island & their award winning, 3 AA rosettes Hell Bay Hotel on the beautiful island of Bryher on the Isles of Scilly, UK.
Please note - at this time they only have accommodation available for couples, with opportunities for partners that may also be seeking employment in front of house and housekeeping. Please apply with a joint CV or include your partner's name if applying separately.
Department: Tresco Island & Hell Bay Hotel
Reporting to: Executive Chef
Salary: Competitive + Island accommodation available
Hours: Full Time
Contract Length: Seasonal (Spring - Autumn 2021)
Duties include:
Preparing and cooking fresh produce to create their high rated cuisine
Ensuring food quality and hygiene are maintained at the highest levels
Assisting the Head Chef in the development of new dishes
The Ideal Candidate:
A dedicated and driven individual who shares their passion for the industry
Have experience in providing outstanding service
Committed and hungry to progress and grow your skills
Have a keen eye for detail
Able to work well under pressure
Have a high standard of cleanliness
Able to communicate all relevant information on nutrition and food allergens
Have existing experience in hotel restaurant or an establishment with good reputation for excellent cuisine
Hold the relevant kitchen and hygiene certificates or be willing to obtain them
