My Client, one of the strongest businesses providing BEMS services across London and the South East is lookng to grown their Team, due to a number of new contract they are looking for a BMS ENGINEER TO compliment their already stong force of 11.
As a BMS Maintenance Service Engineer you will be expected to work flexibly and observe all agreements and custom and practice concerning interchangeability of jobs.
Role & Responsibilities
* To be an integral part of the Service Team, being very client focused and promoting a positive image of the company and the services which it provides.
* To carry out Service and Maintenance works and Call Outs for BMS Control Systems installed within new and existing client's sites.
* To carry out Small Works and Remedial Works, ensuring the work is completed to the client's satisfaction within the allocated time and budget.
* To be part of the Out of Hours Call Out support procedure offered to clients paying for this premium service.
Person Specification
Being a key service team member in working practice and with service delivery focus, the role demands critical personal attributes, competencies and capabilities:
* A level of technical and commercial astuteness
* A high level of technical knowledge of Trend and/or Delta, Honeywell/Tridium and Siemens BMS products and software
* A highly proactive, self-motivated and flexible approach to duties
* Capable of working on own initiative and as an effective team member
* Diligent, positively energised
* Articulate with good communication skills
* Competent ICT capabilities in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Regular reporting and communication will be required with the Service Coordinators to enable the Service Department to run effectively and efficiently and to ensure that our clients' expectations are exceeded.
Roles and Responsibilities
* To attend sites as required to service BMS and Discreet control systems, carry out Small Works Projects or Remedial Works.
* To carry out control panel modifications and installations as required.
* To advise clients on potential improvements and recommendations for their system.
* To amend software and/or graphics pages as required.
* To have regular communication with the Service Coordinators to ensure all aspects of works are dealt with in a timely manner and no element gets overlooked. To engage in each afternoon's Daily Catch Up process, whereby you discuss your day's work with your own Coordinator, along with ensuring you are fully briefed on the next day's requirements.
* To attend Call Outs and Breakdowns as required.
* Salary upto GBP45,000 experience dependant
* Company Van, Laptop, Smart Phone, Pension
* Hours of Work 41.25 hours/week 08:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs Monday to Friday inclusive.
* OT - T1/2 Saturday T2 Sunday
* Because of the nature of our work, a flexible approach to working hours and routines is required.
* The job may entail travel away from home and the work may entail unsociable hours.
* Product training will be provided in accordance with the company employee development strategies.
