Our client is a well established food manufacturer based in Cambridgeshire who supplies to world leading retailers. They are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their new state of the art facility.
This role operates on a permanent DAY 4on 4off shift basis with a competitive salary.

This role involves a variety of responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Identifying and rectifying problems on production lines
- Carrying out routine preventative maintenance
- Updating daily activity reports
- Analysing system, lines and product performance
- Actively support and encourage a programme of TPM and assist with the training of colleagues in the relevant activities
The right candidate will have:
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Formal Electrical or Mechanical qualifications backed up with suitable training and experience ie NVQ level / 3 City and Guilds or food and drink industry Engineering Apprenticeship
- Experience in a fast moving, high volume environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work under pressure
- Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery including strapping machines and conveyor belt systems
- It would be advantageous to have previously worked on Tray Sealers/Check-weighers/conveyor Systems, heat sealers/ Multi head weighing and netting Machines and flow wrappers
