The Company
Able Bridge Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with a UK top 10 accountancy practice. Due to an acquisition/merger in the recent past, our client has identified several key gaps in their current structure that could do with some additional resource. One of these key posts is a payroll manager who will oversee the smooth running of the outsourced payroll function of my client's business.
The Responsibilities
We are seeking a determined and experienced payroll (bureaux), manager who can join the organisation and support the payroll processors in their day-to-day activities. The bureaux is made up of many clients (SMEs), who require timely, efficient and effective support in ensuring their staff are paid on time and without errors. Due to the current Covid19 furlough scheme, the team are under increased time and workload pressure to turn the weekly payrolls around. In your capacity as payroll manager, you will be responsible for the oversight of these clients and you will be expected to support the team on operational issues.
The Requirements
We are seeking an experienced payroll manager who can join our client and add value from day one. We are also open to applicants who are making a move from a team leader capacity into a managerial post. Experience of running complex and difficult bureauxs is however essential.
In return, our client is offering a competitive basic salary, a fantastic working environment and the ability to work remotely where possible.
If you are interested in hearing more detail about this role or would like to have a confidential chat about a potential career move, please do not hesitate in contacting me
COVID19 statement
Whilst efforts will be made to ensure working from home will be offered wherever possible (in line with government guidance), there may be occasions where you are required to be in the office. If you are expected to be in the office, on occasion, full and safe social distancing will be provided
