Experienced Finance Assistant required for a well-established company based in Barnsley.
The main purpose of the role is to support the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:
* Inputting purchase invoices to ERP system
* Chasing purchase invoice approvals and liaising with suppliers as required
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Monitoring and allocation of incoming e-mails to accounts team central address
* Dealing with incoming post
* Daily inputting of bank transactions to ERP
* Daily bank reconciliations
* Issuing customer statements and copy invoices where required
* Assisting with month end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
* Business partnering support for various cost centre managers
* Other ad hoc duties as required

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
* Good IT skills required
* Experience of working within a small team is essential
* Experience of Access Dimensions would be an advantage
