Info about what the role entails
The Principal Test Engineer will be responsible for Automatic Test Equipment and test techniques used in production and verification of RF equipment.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Develop efficient ATE software solutions to support manufacture of product lines, and ensuring adherence to all quality and qualification guidelines
* Identify and implement process improvements as part of the Continuous Improvements project to increase efficiency and accuracy of existing test systems
* Support on-going proposal and tender process by working with design engineering and process engineering to understand customer requirements, and provide inputs to bid manager in support of the tender
Essential Requirements of the Principal Test Engineer
* Minimum 10 years industry experience
* Strong understanding of RF component and system requirements as well as Verifications and validation methods
* Experienced with Labview
* The Principal Test Engineer must have a strong understanding of test equipment, capabilities and calibration
* Understanding of software verification processes
Nice to Have Requirements of the Principal Test Engineer
* Line-management experience
* Software programming skills (Python, C/C++, VHDL etc)
* Understanding of Digital Signal Processing test methods
