Extrastaff are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 night drivers to join our busy team, working with a large depot based in Gatwick (Crawley). this role is ongoing, full time with the potential temp - perm opportunity for the right individuals.
The role involves making up to 4-5 drops, per shift, to small units with palletised stock. Drivers are required to load and unload their own vehicles using a pump truck and tail-lift. The role can be physical, at times. The Sub depots are based within a 40-mile radius of the main depot location.
Shifts operate Sunday to Friday, with start times between 21:00 & 01:00 with finish times the following morning, between 07:30 and 11:00. Drivers should be flexible with timings.
All Drivers are paid a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Applicants should have no more than six penalty point and will undergo a driving assessment prior to starting.
