Extrastaff are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night drivers to join our busy team, working with a large depot based in Gatwick (Crawley). this role is ongoing, full time with the potential temp - perm opportunity for the right individuals.
The role involves making up to five drops, per shift, to small units with palletised stock. Drivers are required to load and unload their own vehicles using a pump truck and tail-lift. The role can be physical, at times. The Sub depots are based within a 40-mile radius of the main depot location.
Shifts operate Sunday to Friday, with start times between 21:00 & 01:00 with finish times the following morning, between 07:30 and 11:00. Drivers should be flexible with timings.
All Drivers are paid a minimum of 8 hours per shift. Applicants should have no more than six penalty point and will undergo a driving assessment prior to starting.
