MSC Finance Assistant

To start as soon as possible, permanent contract.

12 hours per week, spread across a minimum of two days per week, term time only plus 48 additional hours which are to be worked on In-service Training Days and during the school summer holidays.  These dates will be agreed annually in advance

Grade 14 points 4 - 6 - Actual salary of £5,637 - £5,865

We require an effective and efficient Finance Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and committed team as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who has finance and administrative experience, a strong work ethic and is willing to embrace the challenges that working in a busy office can bring. 

Working under the direction of the MSC Partnership Manager and based in the MSC Office, we would like you to: 

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with ability to engage positively and effectively with trainees, school staff and either face to face, by phone or by email. 
  • Have excellent administration and ICT Skills including the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
  • Be highly organised with an ability to proactively manage workload, competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
