The Royal School for the Blind, Liverpool offers educational placements for children with visual impairments and complex needs. Placements at the school are for both day and residential children.

SCHOOL MINIBUS DRIVER
Dates: 14 th June 2021 to Friday 23 rd July 2021
Salary: NJC SCP 1 (£17842 for full time. Pro rata down to reflect hours and term time only. Actual salary is £6120 spread over 12 months)
Location: Church Road North, Wavertree, Liverpool L15 6TQ
Contract type: Part time (15 hours per week)
Contract term: Fixed term 6 weeks, Term time only (6 weeks driving)
Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 9.15am, 4.00pm – 5.30pm
Friday – 7.45am – 9.15am, 1.00pm – 2.30pm
We are seeking to appoint a candidate with a clean D1 driving license and at least 5 years driving experience. This position would be suitable for a reliable, responsible driver with a courteous manner. You should have a caring nature, be outgoing, non-judgmental and an ability to work as a team. The post is fixed term for 10 weeks as an additional interim measure to support the school during the Coronavirus pandemic. This post will comprise driving for the School for 8 weeks with an additional 2 weeks of half-term paid as part of pro rata salary.
