Job Summary

Key to this integral role, is the ability to confidently work across account management and new business, maximising income and minimising attrition across our corporate partnerships. Your role is to inspire and motivate our partners, recruit new partners, and deliver excellent stewardship to engender long term and sustainable support.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day account management of a range of partnerships, including staff fundraising, charity of the year, cause related marketing, sponsorship, and charitable donations. You will additionally be responsible for growing a quality new business pipeline, and feel confident with research and analysis, as well as outreach. Core to this work is the ability to be proactive and creative in identifying ways to engage partners and uplift/gain support.

You will be able to apply your excellent written communication skills across print and digital channels; this role is responsible for the monthly corporate e-newsletter and donor thanking, as well as working on partner proposals and impact reports. You will use data, insight and analysis, and review against financial and non-financial KPIs.

Key Accountabilities

* Proactively and methodically manage the corporate pipeline, ensuring prospects are moved through the stages of solicitation swiftly and effectively

* Identify new prospects through research, contact mapping and cold approaches

* Deliver excellent account management, appropriately tiered across account values, always with a focus on uplift and retention

* Apply creative thinking, to identify and develop new ways of generating income through corporate fundraising activities

* Work with the Brand & Marketing Team to increase awareness of A&B, and maximise corporate engagement, through social media activity, e-newsletters, website content and print collateral

* Be responsible for first class data management and administration, including prompt thanking, tracking consent, and keeping all records accurate and up to date in CRM system (Raisers Edge)

* Act as the first point of contact for corporates enquiries, responding to all calls and emails in a timely manner, ensuring responses are tailored and appropriate

* Adhere to the highest standards of corporate fundraising best practice as set out in the Fundraising Regulators Fundraising's Code and ensure that all activities comply fully with the relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation.

Person Specification

Essential

Skills, knowledge, education, experience

* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in a corporate fundraising, or equivalent sales or marketing role, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets

* Track record of providing excellent account management, with demonstrable experience of growing value of accounts

* Experience of undertaking research and analysis, ideally on companies

* Significant experience and proficiency of using Raiser's Edge (or similar fundraising database)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for writing engaging, emotive and inspiring copy in plain English.

* IT skills to include confident use of Excel and databases, with the ability to produce succinct and informative reports, using analysis and insight

* Ability to express the vision and achievements of the charity clearly to a variety of audiences
