A fantastic chance to work in a creative environment has become available with an award winning architectural practice. Due to some exciting project wins they are now looking for a Financial Manager to play a pivotal role.
You will support the senior management and directors with overall business and project financial administration The Financial manager is responsible for day-to-day financial administration of the office supporting the Senior Leadership Team to improve practice management and to achieve business aims.
Financial
* You will organize all financial projections, for business activities and incorporate all fee projections / invoicing / general resourcing within the Deltek PIM (in-house document management system) for all office projects.
* You will prepare all monthly invoicing for projects within the office, carrying out the day-to day financial administration on behalf of the Project Architects.
* You will carry out monthly project accounting reviews on all projects as required by SLT, prepare reports for review as required.
* Credit Control; to review monthly outgoings against annual target budgets for review by SLT. - To review and purchase office equipment and consumables.
Commercial Administration
* Day-to-day negotiation for all business contracts within the office e.g. insurances.
* Draft all appointment documentation on behalf of Project Architects.
In order to be successful you will be focused on processed improvement and have an eye for detail. You will be able to multitask and manage your time effectively and be competent with MS Excel and Office 365. Previous experience of working in a construction related or architectural environment would be beneficial.
They have a flexible approach to the hours of work and there will be days where remote working is available. This is a 'growth' position where you have genuine scope of progressing within the hierarchy. A Part time position would also be considered.
