Data Reporting Analyst

We are looking for an experienced data reporting professional to join this large-scale not-for-profit, who impact directly on the lives of tens-of-thousands across local communities in the south. The position will provide a great deal of variety, delivering ad-hoc and regular reporting for business functions across the full breadth of the organisation, including operational, customer, back-office, regulatory data etc. In addition, you will have a steady pipeline of requests and projects to develop self-service reports and dashboards (Power BI) and plenty of opportunity for involvement in wider data and business Intelligence initiatives, as the organisation embarks on a major digital and data transformation journey. You will be joining this business at a very exciting time, in the very early stages of major business change with significant investment and energy. An amazing place to be for career progression.
Required skills and experience;
A self-starter, able to manage and prioritise demand and workload.
Strong, demonstrable experience in a similar data reporting type position
Variety of data reporting experience; working with different data types and source systems
Technical proficiency with SQL databases and tools, including SSRS
A string understanding of database design
Experience of developing reports and dashboards in cloud visualisation products such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
A strong general IT ability, able to quickly understand and utilise a variety of software systems
An understanding of data governance and standards, creating and maintaining documentation and metadata
Ability to understand requirements and produce reports that meet business needs.
A team player with customer service attitude
An interest and passion for continuous improvement and modern BI and reporting practices
