Are you looking for a new Class 1 position with ongoing work available?
We are currently recruiting for a nationwide company based in Tamworth to do store deliveries from depot to depot.
Drivers are required to open up branches, deliver, collect empties and secure the branch, so they will be lone workers delivering on their own which isn't for everyone.
Before a driver drives must be assessed before working with this company and have their safe systems of work trained, the assessment is 2hrs long and includes a written test mainly on the highway code and drivers hours, if this part is passed then the driver will do the health and safety part, this consists of being made familiar with site rules and procedures.
All drivers must have at least 6months UK driving experience.
The company I am working with use both class 1 and class 2 drivers.
