GBP26-32k Basic + 10% Bonus + Vehicle + Overtime + Call Out

Standard 40 Hour Week - Single Fixed Bristol Site

* The role is 80% planned maintenance and 20% breakdown maintenance of a wide range of power conversion equipment, automation and electrical rotating kit.

* Excellent training provided including progression to authorised HV person.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented electrically biased maintenance or service engineer with excellent communication skills to develop a career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. This global provider of electrical power conversion equipment, rotating kit and automation seeks an ambitious electrical engineer who enjoys a challenging and diverse role which will test your problem solving and customer facing skills to the max.

The role is diverse and challenging, comprising of the following:

* Undertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing.

* Carry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all solar PV systems which will include mechanical and electrical diagnosis on Power Inverters.

* Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of Solar Plant availability.

* Provide out of hours and weekend response.

* Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.

* Assist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager.

* Conduct training lessons to enhance other employee's technical knowledge.

The ideal person will have an electrical service or maintenance background and possess excellent fault-finding skills across a broad range of equipment as well as a first class approach to training and skill development. They do not require any previous experience of solar plant but this would be a distinct advantage. Full training including HV will be provided as well as a career path to roles such as project management.
