Private Client Solicitor (COP) - Cambridge

Based in the City centre, our client is seeking an experienced Solicitor to undertake Court of Protection matters. The role offers client autonomy, working collaboratively in a team environment, as well as business development and mentoring of more junior staff. The role will raise your visibility in COP work, you will also support the Partners in this interesting position working on a diverse casework. You will be technically strong and the work will include:

• Preparing a variety of applications to the Court of Protection
• Acting as Professional Deputy in a range of cases
• Reporting to the office of the Public Guardian
• Liaising with a range of 3rd parties
• Applications for Statutory Wills
• Controlling and monitoring clients' budgets

The successful candidate will have experience in medical and PI, and be a natural communicator able to build internal relationships with other lawyers easily.
