Job Title: Beauty Therapy Trainer / Assessor
Location: Hampshire / Dorset / Wiltshire - Must be flexible with travel
Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP24,500 + BONUS (Dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage, Mobile, Laptop + much more!
Type: Part-time, Permanent (3-4 days per week initially, days will potentially increase in the future)
Duties:
* Assess and deliver Apprenticeship qualifications in Beauty Therapy Level 2 and Advanced Beauty Therapist Level 3 (if competent).
* Build and grow your own caseload from scratch with support from the companies own sales team.
* Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths, English and ICT to level 2.
* Record professional discussions on specific units / topics based on knowledge, independent research and reflective accounts.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
* Work to learner review and completion time-scales.
Essential Criteria:
* Recognised Assessor award: D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA.
* Experienced in delivering full Apprenticeships in Beauty Therapy to Level 2 (New Standards), including Functional Skills to Level 2.
* Hold a Level 2 qualification in Beauty Therapy (or above).
* Must be happy to carry out business development and learner recruitment to build own caseload.
* Solid, occupational competency within Beauty Therapy.
* Full, clean driving licence, own vehicle, and flexible with travel.
Personal Skills:
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
