HGV C+E Required Urgently for store deliveries in Bristol Avonmouth
Pure staff are looking for experienced C+E drivers to work alongside one of our clients in the Bristol (Avonmouth) area.

Pure Staff are currently looking for enthusiastic & experienced HGV C+E drivers to join our team of flexible employees to work with this specific client.
Our client is a large (well-known) Branded frozen foods distribution company.
They currently require ongoing C+E to work with their current team. This job is longer term with some candidates being offered fulltime contracts.
The job itself will consist of stores deliveries, 2 drops normally per shift.
Distribution is completed in an Articulated lorry, brand new Automatic Merc Actros with refrigerated split (frozen & Ambient) trailer.
Handball is to be expected on this job with deliveries split between cages and palates to be delivered using pump truck and tail lift.
Experience in refrigerated transport is not required but could be advantageous working with split fridge trailers.
Our Clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive C+E Articulated lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections / trailer swaps are completed.
There is a stop call wait procedure to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.
This can be a customer facing role so the perfect candidate will be of smart appearance with a polite nature, you will need to show willingness to give that little extra to ensure our clients stores personnel have the best experience interaction with the driver as possible.
Start times can vary but normally between 03:00am and 10:00am shifts can be long hours but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hr per shift on average.
Before work can commence your will be required to attend a site health and safety induction normally takes only an hour with work being provided within the following week depending on your availability.
You will require;
HGV C+E Driving licence
6 months C+E experience is preferred
CPC Card
Digital card
Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD) codesPay;
Days GBP15.00 Monday to Friday per hour PAYE
GBP17.00 Saturday per hour PAYE
GBP19.00 Bank holidays and Sunday per hour PAYE
NO Limited Company Contractors

Refer an HGV/LGV driver and after they have worked for us for a month receive GBP100 for you and GBP50 for them!
T&C's apply but that is paid after 200 hours (about 4 weeks) of work.
